The School of Physiotherapy at NMIMS is envisioned as a Centre of Excellence in physiotherapy education, clinical practice, and research. Offering both Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) since 2025 and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) since 2013, the school is dedicated to developing skilled, ethical, and industry-ready physiotherapists who can respond to the dynamic needs of the healthcare sector. The programs are designed in strict accordance with the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) guidelines and are approved by the Maharashtra OT/PT council. With a strong emphasis on experiential learning, students receive hands-on training through well-equipped state-of-the-art laboratories, simulation facilities, and structured clinical postings at affiliated hospitals and rehabilitation centres. The school fosters interdisciplinary learning, research orientation, and patient-centred care, ensuring that graduates gain comprehensive practical exposure and professional competence to excel in diverse clinical and academic settings.
