The School of Physiotherapy at NMIMS is emerging as a dynamic and forward-thinking centre for physiotherapy education, clinical practice, and research. While the Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) program has been established since 2013, the introduction of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program in 2025 marks a significant phase of growth and expansion. As a relatively young and evolving school, it is driven by a vibrant team of motivated faculty who bring fresh perspectives, strong academic commitment, and a deep passion for teaching and learning.

Rooted in the guidelines of the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) and approved by the Maharashtra OT/PT Council, the programs are thoughtfully designed to balance academic rigor with clinical relevance. The school places strong emphasis on active, experiential learning—integrating simulation-based training, modern laboratory facilities, and structured clinical exposure across tertiary care hospitals and rehabilitation settings.
